First up, Yosemite. Linking up with Scott's brother Mike as tour guide
extraordinaire, we hopped in his RV, and off we went.
El Capitan & idyllic mountain streams
were just some of the spectacular sight we beheld. Of course, we weren't in
the land of the tall cactus just yet... |

Aside from the familiar Ansel
Adams views, we wandered through flowered meadows and spooky moonscaped
rocky mountain passes... |

From Yosemite, we headed

to a really strange place
called "Mono Lake". I'm guessing there was an outbreak of the kissing
disease here among the native Americans hundreds of years ago. |
|
Regardless of where the name
came from, Mono Lake is this salt water lake surrounded by these freaky
formations, kind of like above-water corral reefs. Pretty weird. |
